The Destin History and Fishing Museum on Florida's Gulf Coast offers fishing exhibits, antique rods and reels (including an original Penn Reel, that belonged to Ernest Hemingway), vintage photographs of Destin early settlers, and much more.  Experience historical and educational exhibits detailing early life on the North Gulf Coast from the 1830s. Witness the birth and evolution of a fishing industry that has become the heritage of the "World's Luckiest Fishing Village". View over 60 mounted fish caught by anglers in local waters and learn about the local fish and fishing industry. See the restored "Primrose", Destin's last seine boat and the original first post office building that served the early pioneers of the area.
